Set priorities in Dungeon Duties

Open Dungeon Duties to set how each minion prioritizes each job. The official Malignus press kit shows this as a table of minions and jobs, with entries such as Hunting, Mining, Torture, and Guard Duty. Start by deciding which task you need covered and adjust the priorities of the minion you want on it.

Check Behavior for allowed work

Open the minion’s Behavior tab and check whether it may take that kind of work. A priority change is useful only after you’ve checked the minion’s permissions. The same tab also covers how that minion fights, flees, and heals.

Match the job to the minion

Assign hunting and mining with the crew you actually have in mind. Inspect the individual before choosing a duty. For example, if you’re opening a room and also need a hunter, decide who should favor Mining and who should favor Hunting, then watch which jobs are taken. If the work remains untouched, check whether there’s a job available for the minion to pick up.
